Technical Specifications:

Download CentQMT5:

CentQMT5-1.2.1 - This is an update release. Updated all of the CentOS packages, and updated clamav-toaster as well. Since it appears (from the complaint emails I get) that some people install a mail server without an Internet connection, the ISO now installs QTP from the local ISO, and then checks for updates. The root password for mysql is now in three places, so there should not be a problem finding it. For those that don't know, it's on the wiki, the changelog on the ISO, and in a text file on the ISO.

CentQMT5-x86_64-1.0.0 - This is a x86_64 (64-bit) version of CentQMT ISO for 64-bit processors. The download is available for purchase right here for $20. If you're not sure if you have a x86_64 processor, then you probably do not and should purchase a download of the 32-bit version (below).

CentQMT5-1.2.0 - This is an update release. The packages for CentOS have been updated to CentOS 5.3 and there are some new Qmailtoaster packages in the ISO that will not be available to the public until May 13th - you get them early! As always, the CentQMT5 download is available for purchase right here.

VCGSend - VCGSend has been released! This web app allows you to send large files without having to send email attachments or use FTP. More info and purchasing available here.

QControl 1.1 is out - Some bug fixes and a couple new features (add/delete users, etc.) are included with this version. This version also does a version check on the main page to let you know at a glance if there is a new version available. We have also released our Personal Edition (PE) that allows you to control 1 domain, which is available at no charge. The commercial edition that allows unlimited domains is still available. You can get more information about both at the main site.

Install Information & ChangeLog:

  • ChangeLog:
08/25/2009 - I created a x86_64 Edition of the CentQMT5 ISO. This installer is for 64-bit systems and will install CentOS 5 x86_64 and a full build of Qmailtoaster.
05/12/2009 - TricubeMedia has donated server space and bandwidth to the ISO project! Due to the number of downloads and the bandwidth involved for the free download, I was going to drop the ISO site. TricubeMedia stepped in and took over the downloads portion to help the community out. Thanks!
07/18/2008 - It's come to my attention that some people are abusing my work by bogging my server down with multiple downloads. I've already limited the bandwidth since downloads BURIED a 3M connection, but then I started to get complaints from users who were unable to download the software or it was very slow. I started to investigate and saw that cerain users (such as IP 61.7.216.10) were opening 20+ download sessions. I've installed a module to limit the number of downloads per IP address now, so hopefully this should solve the problem caused by some crap-heads out there.
04/10/2008 - 1.4.1 has been released and includes binary packages reducing the installation time. CentOS packages have been updated and all the perl modules needed are installed via binary packages as well. VMWare images will be coming later this week. I've also released a CentOS-5 based ISO that is available for download, but the download is not free.

Installation Notes:

This installation ISO will format your HD!
